Tenerife is one of the most beautiful parts of the Canaries and many people come from all over the world to either holiday or set up a new life on the island.

There is no easy way to describe the beauty of the landscapes and the remarkably friendly culture that Tenerife offers everyone, unless you see it for yourself. But a good way to show the magic of the island would be to document your new life, Tenerife wedding or holiday with a the help of a professional photographer. And nobody comes more qualified and more capable than Phil Crean Photography.

Tony Thorne MBE

Tony Thorne MBE is one of Tenerife’s “swallows”, emigrating towards the sunshine every winter to make the most of the great weather. He is also published writer well known originally for his work as a design engineer which saw him decorated with an MBE, these days he has turned his hand to fiction writing and has numerous books in his repertoire.

Tony has written 13 great books but as our focus is Tenerife our favourite titles have to be the award winning “Tenerife Tall Tails” and the aptly titled sequel “More Tenerife Tall Tales” – and we are informed that there will be a third instalment to complete a wonderful trilogy,

The trilogy is set in Tenerife and the first book in the series includes 17 wonderfully short stories that illustrate the clever imagination of the author. Combining his love for fiction and technical ability Tony has dreamt up some fantastic tales with twists and turns to keep the reader hooked. Ideal holiday reading for the Tenerife visitor and a dream read for ex-pats on the island.
